The Timiskaming Health Unit Sexual Health Clinic offers free and confidential services. The goal of the Sexual Health Program is to promote healthy sexuality. You may come alone, bring a parent, or come with a friend. 

We offer services and information about STIs and testing, pregnancy testing/options counselling, sexuality, sexual health and free condoms for everyone. Low-cost birth control is also available.

New Liskeard & Kirkland Lake

Sexual Health services are available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.). Appointments preferred. 

Englehart

Sexual Health services are available by appointment.

Please note that you will be redirected to our booking page to schedule your appointment. Five appointment types are available when booking for sexual health services:

Birth Control Start - If you are interested in starting on a form of birth control or have questions before you start. Appointment time: 45 minutes. 

Birth Control Follow up - You have tried a form of birth control, and the nurse has asked you to come in for a follow up. Appointment time: 30 minutes. 

Sexual Health Education - You have questions about your sexual health and are hoping to speak with a nurse regarding these concerns. Appointment time: 30 minutes. 

STI Testing - You are interested in being tested for sexually transmitted infections and being treated. Appointment time: 30 minutes.

Pregnancy Options - You think you may be pregnant, interested in pregnancy testing, or are looking for options counseling. Appointment time: 60 minutes.  

Once you have registered for your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email or text with the date and time.
