Cessation Program 

The Timiskaming Health Unit offers assessment, advice, assistance and referral to individuals who would like to quit smoking.

Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients (STOP) 

The Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients (STOP) study offers eligible individuals cessation services and Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) through a variety of programs, visit:  Ways to participate in the STOP program 

Stop on the Net provides Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) and support in an online format.

Local residents who are not rostered with a Family Health Team or qualify for other Nicotine Replacement Therapy programs may be eligible for NRT through the Timiskaming Health Unit.
