Connexions Timiskaming Connections (CTC) was formed to help our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Many people needed to isolate at home, and others with weakened immune systems and disabilities did not feel safe going out. Timiskaming Health Unit created CTC to help those in need, either by pointing them to the right supports or matching them with a volunteer to help run errands.

The COVID-19 pandemic is not over but most restrictions have been lifted. At this time, the CTC service will be put on hold and revisited in future as the situation evolves.  We thank all the volunteers who made this possible.  This could not have happened without them and we are so grateful that some will continue helping people they were matched with. Help was provided and connections were made!  Thank you to all our community partners who supported CTC with volunteering, organizing, and providing donations.
