Active workplaces are great for employees and employers!

It can be difficult to get active when you’re busy, but workplaces can be a great place to encourage people to be more active during the day, especially when many jobs today are sedentary or require low levels of physical activity. 

Get active during the workday:

  •       Take the stairs
  •       Park farther from the entrance at work
  •       Get active during break time
  •       Bring comfortable shoes and get moving during lunch breaks

An environment that promotes healthy habits and activity during the day results in:

  • Healthier employees
  • Greater job satisfaction
  • More productivity
  • Positive relations with coworkers
  • Less absenteeism
